Charlotte Langner

Charlotte Langner performed as a teenager at the Tonhalle Düsseldorf and as the Second Boy in Mozart's “Zauberflöte” at the Theater Krefeld/Mönchengladbach. She was a violist in the North Rhine-Westphalia State Youth Orchestra and, while still at school, a junior student with Juliane Banse at the Robert Schumann University of Music in Düsseldorf (RSH). She completed her bachelor's degree at the Mozarteum Salzburg and is now studying for her master's degree at the RSH with Konrad Jarnot.
She has participated in numerous masterclasses, is a prize winner of the Federal Singing Competition Berlin in the junior category, multiple federal prize winner of “Jugend musiziert” and received the special prize of the Walter and Charlotte Hamel Foundation. In the 2023/2024 season, Charlotte Langner made her debut at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein as Uli in Lucia Ronchetti's “Das fliegende Klassenzimmer”.

In the 2025/26 season, she will appear as Papagena in “Die Zauberflöte”, Taumännchen in “Hänsel und Gretel”, Ida in “Die Fledermaus” and Barbarina in “Le nozze di Figaro”, as well as in the matinee “Ingeborg Bachmann zum Geburtstag”, where she will sing the world premiere of a song cycle by Thomas Blomenkamp with texts by Ingeborg Bachmann.
