6. Haniel Klassik Open Air

Atmospheric classical music under the open sky: For the seventh time, the long-established family-owned company Haniel, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, and Kulturbetriebe Duisburg, together with the Duisburg Philharmonic Orchestra, invite you to the major concert event “Free and Outdoors”!

Against the magnificent backdrop in front of the theater, you’ll experience the ensemble’s soloists, the opera chorus, and the Duisburg Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of the orchestra’s new General Music Director, Stefan Blunier; Götz Alsmann will guide you through the program.

A special concert moment showcasing the colorful and vibrant diversity of Duisburg’s voices will be provided by special guest Koray Berat Sari, Community Music Artist of the Duisburg Philharmonic, with his composition for the “Marxloh Music Circus” project.
