Sopranistin Elena Sancho Pereg und Bariton Jorge Espino, gemeinsam mit Patrick Francis Chestnut am Klavier, präsentieren in ihrer Liedmatinee Werke von Komponist*innen aus Süd- und Nord­amerika. Von spanischsprachiger Musik aus der Feder des Argentiniers Astor Piazzolla über Lieder des „kubanischen Gershwin“ Ernesto Lecuona geht die musikalische Reise in den anglophonen Norden mit Komponisten wie Samuel Barber und H. Leslie Adams.
